Child Safety Standards
Rastlio is only for people aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards and how we act. It is part of our Terms of Use.
In short
- People under 18 cannot use Rastlio.
- Any content or behaviour that sexualises, abuses or exploits a child is prohibited.
- Such content is removed, the account is permanently banned and the case is reported to the competent authorities.
- On every profile, post and chat you can tell us right away with "Report or block › Might be under 18".
1. What is prohibited
None of the following is allowed. There is no warning: the content is removed and the account is permanently banned.
- Any sexual, obscene or sexualised image, text or message showing a person under 18 (whether real, drawn or AI-generated).
- Trying to contact a child for sexual purposes, deceive them, or build their trust in order to abuse them (grooming).
- Requesting, sharing, selling or linking to child sexual abuse material.
- Threatening a child or trying to obtain images or money from them (sextortion).
- Content that praises, normalises or encourages the sexual abuse of children.
- Creating an account for someone under 18 or misstating your age.
2. Safeguards in the app
- Age limit: a date of birth is required at sign-up; a date of birth under 18 is rejected both in the app and on our servers, and no account can be created.
- Photo screening: profile photos and posts are automatically screened for sexual content before they go live; images above the threshold are not published.
- Reporting: every profile, post and chat has "Report". Reports with the reason "Might be under 18" reach the moderator marked urgent and are reviewed first.
- Blocking: a person you block cannot see you anywhere or message you.
- Evidence: the photo of a reported post is kept for review in a secure area users cannot access, even if the post is deleted.
- Location privacy: Rastlio never shows anyone's exact location, which makes it harder to find where someone is.
3. How to report
- In the app: on the profile, post or chat, open the ··· menu › Report or block › Might be under 18. You can add a short description.
- By email: write to rastliotr@gmail.com with the subject "Child safety report". You can report even without an account.
- Do not download, copy or forward the image yourself; only report it to us and to the authorities.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first (112 in Türkiye).
4. What we do after a report
- Child safety reports are handled with priority and reviewed within 24 hours at the latest.
- If there is a violation, the content is removed immediately and the account is permanently banned. The same person is not allowed to create a new account.
- When child sexual abuse material or a situation where a child is at risk is identified, it is reported to the competent authorities in line with applicable law: in Türkiye, the police and public prosecutors and the Information and Communication Technologies Authority's İhbar Web hotline (ihbarweb.org.tr); where appropriate, international organisations such as NCMEC in the United States.
- We share relevant records and evidence with authorities in response to lawful requests.
5. Legal compliance
Rastlio complies with the child protection laws of the Republic of Türkiye and the relevant laws of the countries where the app is offered. These standards also meet Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Apple's App Store guidelines.
6. Child safety point of contact
