Delete your Rastlio account
You can delete your Rastlio account and data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete in the app (immediately)
- Open Rastlio and tap the Profile tab at the bottom.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately and you return to the welcome screen.
Delete without the app (by email)
If you can no longer access the app, write to us:
- Subject: Account deletion request.
- Tell us how you signed in (Apple, Google or email) and the name on your profile. Sending the email from the address linked to your account speeds things up.
- We may ask for additional information to confirm the account is yours.
- Your request is resolved within 30 days at the latest and you are notified by email.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details.
- Your profile: name, date of birth, gender, intent, bio, interests, school and department, and preferences.
- All your photos and posts. The files are also deleted from the server within about 20 minutes at most.
- Your latest location and city.
- Your requests and likes.
- Your chats and all the messages in them. These chats are also deleted for the other person.
- Your blocks, the reports you made and the reports about you.
- Your notification token.
What may remain for a while
- Technical logs: server access logs are deleted when the hosting provider's own period expires. We can access them for about 1 day.
- Backups: copies remaining in backups are deleted within 7 days at most.
- Report emails: a report notification previously sent about you stays 30 days at the email provider and, in the moderation mailbox, at most 30 days after the review is finished.
- Support correspondence: emails you sent us are kept for at most 1 year after your request is resolved.
- What stays on your device: things like the image cache go away when you delete the app from your phone.
